FAQ ON WEDDINGS & HP PRODUCTS
FAQ on Weddings
How long before my wedding should I contact wedding flower suppliers?
Our recommendation is that you can never be too early, but you can most certainly be too late.
The earlier you figure out everything that you want, the less stressed you will be when the time draws closer to your big day. This also allows us ample time to source all the flowers and other items required (if any), and grants us some extra time should there be any changes or unforeseen complications.
Do you do weddings outside of Melbourne?
Unfortunately, we do not do weddings outside of Melbourne.
What is your Covid-19 policy?
Should the date of your wedding change within two weeks of the original wedding date provided, including any unforeseen circumstances such as a lockdown imposed by the government due to Covid-19, an additional charge at 50% of the final invoice total will apply to your invoice.
This amount plus any other outstanding invoices must be paid in full at least one month prior to the new wedding date.
Why do I need to do a wedding flower consultation?
Having a consultation with us helps you to better understand who we are as a business, and helps us to better understand what it is you are looking for in terms of flowers. That way, we can have a more accurate understanding of what you are looking for and are able to provide the most accurate quote possible. We are also then able to provide our expert opinion, or even bring to light things which may have been overlooked.
How do I set up a wedding flower consultation?
To set up a consultation, you can either contact us through our email info@haileypaigeflowers.com.au, by making an enquiry through our website at www.haileypaigeflowers.com.au, or by coming in or calling the store during our business hours (11am - 4pm Thursday to Sunday) on 8394 2112, at 548 Sydney Road, Brunswick 3056.
Do I need a theme for my wedding before I come to a consultation?
You don’t need to know anything other than yourself before you coming in for a consultation! The process is super easy, and at the end of the day our job is to help you figure out what it is you want, and we will definitely help go through everything in detail.
I am having my wedding in Melbourne but am interstate/overseas. Is it still possible to do a consultation?
Yes! We are able to do a phone consultation for those who are not based in Melbourne.
However, if you are based in Melbourne it is advised that you come in in person because this allows us to show you in person examples and streamline the process.
In both cases, it would be helpful if you had images of inspiration you liked so we could have a better idea of what you were after, but this is not essential.
Is there a minimum cost for our wedding flowers?
At Hailey Paige Flowers, there is no minimum spend required :)
How much do you charge for delivery of flowers to the bride and groom?
Delivery of items such as bouquets and buttonholes to brides and grooms is included in our fees, and are not an additional charge.
However, there are certain things which may affect the cost of delivery, for example of the locations are considerably far away from us, or if the time requested for drop off is either early morning or quite late in the day.
How much do you charge for bump in (set up) and bump out (disassembling)?
Bump in and bump out fees are all included in our fees and are not an additional charge.
However, this may be affected by the amount of time we are given to bump in and bump out. If we are only able to set up without much time before the commencement of the ceremony and/or reception, or the bump out time is late on the same day, it will incur an increased fee due to requiring more staff, and staff having to come back during overtime hours.
How much does it cost to hire the flower stands & arches?
If you do your wedding flowers with us, the stands and arches all come free!
If you would like to rent them from us separately, the stands are $20 each, and the arches start from $300.
What if I want to add flowers or arrangements that are not part of the initial invoice?
It is possible to add other flowers and/or arrangements to the initial invoice, so long as they are within reason and we are notified well in advanced to allow for the obtainment of additional supplies.
What is a service charge?
A service charge will be incurred if there is an additional requirement other than the standard designing and flower arranging. An example of this would be if a customer requested reflexed flowers (manual opening of flowers).
What should I do if flowers I want are not available are not in season around the time of my wedding?
If this is the case, we will help you to find the closest possible alternative. There are plenty of different kinds of beautiful flowers, and I am sure that we can find you something you will be completely satisfied with.
How does payment work?
Payment plans for wedding flowers are split into 3 instalments.
The first payment is 10% of the total payment, and this enables the date to be locked-in and planning and ordering to begin.
The second instalment is 40% of the total payment, this is made half way from the deposit date and the wedding date.
The final payment is 50% of the total payment, required 1 month from the wedding date.
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
We do not offer refund for change of mind, cancellation, if the wedding has been deferred or if the wedding has been changed to a date, whereby we are not available after a deposit has been made.
Additionally, full payment must still be made if the cancellations are made within one month of the wedding date.
These policies are due to the amount of planning and staffing arrangements that are required for weddings, as well as orders that are placed in bulk for fresh flowers.
